Before running Instagram Comment Automation Campaign,
Advertising on Instagram or retargeting the audiences who have interacted with your Instagram profiles/posts has been proven an effective way to reach new prospects and convert them into your customers.
Before building an Instagram Retargeting Audience or advertising on Instagram, you have to connect your Facebook Page and your Instagram account. We provide 2 methods in this article to help you configure the settings:
A. Connect Instagram Account from Facebook Business Manager
Go to Instagram Accounts tab and Click "Add" button: https://business.facebook.com/settings/instagram-account-v2s
Connect your Instagram account.
At Instagram account section, click "Add Assets" button and add your Ad Account with it.
B-1. Connect Instagram Account from Facebook Page Settings
From your Facebook News Feed, click
Pages in the left menu.
Go to your Page and click
Page Settings in the bottom left.
Click Instagram in the left column, then click Connect Account.
Toggle Allow access to Instagram messages in Inbox on or off. When on, it provides access to people who manage your Page to view and respond to Instagram messages.
Click Confirm.
Enter your username and password and click Log In.
Click Connect Account, then click Confirm. If you’re connecting a personal Instagram account to a Page managed in Business Manager, change your Instagram account to a professional one:
Click Business or Creator account.
Click Next.
Click Done.
What if I connect my Facebook Page and Instagram Business account?
If you connected your Facebook Page to an Instagram business account:
Page admins and editors can share Facebook Page posts to Instagram.
Page admins and editors can add to your Page’s story from Instagram.
Page admins can promote posts and create Instagram ads using Instagram Promote.
Page admins and editors and anyone logged into the connected Instagram account can add a button to Instagram for booking appointments on Facebook.
Page admins and editors can sync business contact info, such as email address, phone number and business address, between their Facebook Page and an Instagram business account. Updates made on one app (example: Facebook) will appear on the other app (example: Instagram).
If the Page is enrolled with Facebook's Charitable Giving Tools, anyone with a role on the Page can let people add donation stickers to Instagram Stories.
B-2. Add the Facebook Page connected to your Instagram business account
Go to your Instagram profile.
Select Edit profile.
Under Public business information, select Page.
